to say that i am disgusted by what has happened not only in my home town birmingham, but all over the uk, is an understatement. i cant believe uk citizens could do this this to there cities. where is your city pride? where is your human decency? because of these events it no longer makes me proud to be a uk teen.

there are many things that have been said by ‘people’ who were doing the rioting and mindless vandalism, saying 1 that its all in the name of this 1 guy who got shot, 2 that the youth of today don’t get respect, 3 that they are owed this looting because of the rise in tax. and i would like to address these few issues.

firstly i don’t see how vandalizing and ruining people life’s is helping the cause of a dead man, i would not like to be one of his family members because i would feel ashamed, that from this death all of this carnage has occurred. and i don’t feel bad for saying this but that mans death and his living memory is now tarnished and everything that he ever was is worth nothing more because of what these hooligans have done. if they really cared for this man they would of stayed with there peaceful protest and took the educated root into bringing justice to his death, that is if there is anything to bring to justice.

secondly how dare young people today demand respect from there elders and people in power, you are nothing to society and the way you are going you will never be a useful part to society and most likely live of the dole for the rest of your existence. and the cheek that these pure uneducated idiots say this is shocking to me, how by rioting, thieving and vandalizing are you proving that you are responsibly enough to be listened to, you have not thats the answer, these individuals of which there are many have in a few nights have ruined the reputation for every teenager in the uk, some who were not involved would never even think about doing any of the things done last night, but were worried for there friends and families who might be in trouble. and now every ‘youth’ in the uk will be targeted as a menace to society because of your mindless acts. so the people who believe they deserved respect, let me reassure you, you don’t your worthless, disgusting and hope you get the punishment suitable for your crimes.

and thirdly which is the biggest laugh of them all, that YOU are entitled to this because you pay tax!!!!!! well mr and mrs dole, let me educate you in where your money comes from. you don’t pay tax when on the dole, your dole money is taxpayers money, if any riots were to be done for the injustice that is in the uk it should be that your council houses get ransacked by tax payer (which im not because im a student) and take there money back with your big 50” tv and games consoles. but they don’t and wont because they are decent human beings, but after your thieving spree and destruction who are the people that are having to pay for it, taxpayers, having to once again clean up after your mess and at the same time pay for these criminals to live a life that hard work people on the minimum wage can’t even afford if anyone can tell me how this is fair please do, i would go further into this specific subject but i want to keep it to riots specifically.

and finally i would really like to thank the police men and woman that have out there protecting our streets working over 30 hour shifts and still going, how people can blame them and say there not doing anything is just a total sham, in birmingham alone there were 400 police trying there very best to keep the city safe, but they were up against over 700 vandals that were wide spread causing the disaster and moving from location to location running the police ragged, i think people should give all the police force a break and realize that they are doing there very best to deal with a situation that is massively out of control and respect them in doing there job and if possible with police in your area see if they would like a drink or food they have been working through the night without anything to help you, so please try to give back to them and make them fell appreciated in doing there job.
